WASHINGTON, July 12 (DC Times Online) — In a Friday video for Politicon, Democratic strategist James Carville blasted what he called “far-left” and “insurgent” Democrats, warning that their politics could push the party toward another 2016-style defeat.

Carville singled out Michigan candidate Abdul El-Sayed and said some Democrats are “running against both parties.” He argued Democrats should not “fall for the allure of false prophets” and said, “It’s not both parties’ faults!”

He also cited recent wins by Brad Lander, Darializa Avila Chevalier and Melat Kiros as examples of the kind of candidates he was criticizing.

“These people are so f*cking stupid I don’t know what to say about it,” Carville said. “You are part of the problem because you’re a f*cking idiot!”
